Scott and Leila absolutely melted my heart throughout their entire wedding day - especially Scott's super sweet reaction to seeing Leila during their first look! They opted to get ready and a quaint little AirBNB filled with the prettiest light both inside and outside. And the ceremony at Love Dance was very cool and unique!
Madeline said she either wanted sunshine or snow for her wedding day. Anything but rain! Well she totally lucked out, and we were blessed by this incredible winter wonderland on her day. It may have been in the 20's outside and the roads may have been a little slippery, but #worthit. And those jewel-toned mismatched bridesmaids??? So good!
My favorite thing about Nina and Jon on their wedding day is that they weren't afraid to step outside the "traditional" box in their styling decisions. I mean, look at Nina's blue shoes and viking queen hair and BRIDAL CAPE. I also loved the special touch of her dress perfectly framing the tattoo she has in memory of her mother. These two are incredibly sweet together!
Some of my favorite words to hear from a couple when planning an engagement session are "We want to do something different!" And different is exactly what we did! I loved being creative with these two and even brought along my film camera with some rainbow film to add to the fun.
This wedding was EXTRA special because I photographed it on my birthday! Angela and Danny were an absolute dream to be around. Their punchy yellow and green palette worked perfectly with the lush plants of Discovery Green park in the heart of downtown Houston. After the end of the reception, we took time to grab a few very cool night portraits!
After their original plans for a Colorado wedding were thwarted by COVID, Joanna and Harrison opted for an intimate "minimony" at Chapel Dulcinea in Austin, the city where they met. After they tied the knot and rang the chapel bell, we headed to South Congress for super cool and colorful couples portraits.
I couldn’t help feeling like I was in a dream while photographing Jenn and Michael’s destination wedding on the beach of Puerto Vallarta. The venue, the florals, the details… I was like a kid in a candy store! Beyond the obvious beauty of the day was the undeniable love coursing through every single guest and moment.
